Thanksgiving and Christmas have always been my favorite times of the year—not because of the material element that is associated with the holidays, but because of things of substance such as creating traditions and spending time with the ones you love.
In the weeks before, during and after World AIDS Day Dec. 1, the southwestern Pennsylvania AIDS Planning Coalition along with other organizations such as the Pittsburgh AIDS Task Force held a series of events to educate people about the disease of HIV/AIDS and inspire them to take action to help those living with the disease. While some events addressed concerns with HIV/AIDS care in the region, others delighted guests with song and dance.
